9/11 Memorial Center

The 9/11 Memorial Center represents a day which changed the world forever. A tribute to the victims of the deadly twin towers tragedy, over here you can learn about the events before, during and after the horrific day.

Visit the Memorial Twin Reflecting Pools which are the largest manmade waterfalls. The names of each person who died are inscribed into bronze panels edging the pools and serve as a powerful reminder of what transpired in the past. Be sure to visit the Survivor Tree, the only living survivor of the day. Besides being emotionally heavy, the museum provides an educative experience and lets you take a deep dive in the history of the towers and the events that led to its fall.

We went on the 9/11 Tribute tour right after lunch and then caught the last ferry to the Ellis Island. And then ended the day at the Empire State Observatory Deck to watch the sun set on the greatest city on the planet.
