Meet your guide in front of the terrace of Starbucks Mönckebergstraße, before you set off to explore Hamburg's historic old town. Here, you will see the magnificent 19th-century neo-renaissance Town Hall, which was built when the city's fortune was at its pinnacle. As you explore the historic Deichstrasse and its medieval building, you will learn how the Great Fire wreaked havoc in the old town.
