We went at the end of October 2025, it is rather spectacular. Now be prepared for a bit of a climb it's quite steep and totally unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties and not for wheelchairs. Once you make it up there are more steps and stairs, quite steep even through a secret passage. Once at the top parapet the views are magnificent and worth it and because of the time of year with the trees changing, the colours are spectacular. Quite an experience. There's a lovely small market with the usual trinkets at the base of the cliff and some small shops.

Visiting Bran Castle in autumn is a magical experience. The hills of Transylvania are colored red and gold, and the silhouette of the castle emerging through the fog creates an atmosphere of legend. Inside, narrow corridors and ancient rooms tell centuries of history and mystery. Autumn enhances the charm of the place: the golden light, the scent of the forest and the silence make for an evocative visit, almost out of time.

Walking thru the castle and the grounds around the castle was an experience that I won't forget ! The stories I grew up hearing about Dracula, the movies, the obsession , it all became a reality by walking thru the castle and remembering g all about the Count and the stories and movies of the vampire. I loved it and I recommend this experience to anyone that has heard the stories and/or watched the movies. Thank you !!

    • In the Guard Room and Medieval Armor Rooms, you’ll find pikes, shields, and suits of armor once used by the castle’s soldiers.

    • With an upgrade, join a guide to learn more about the castle's rust-colored round tower, a hidden chamber within a courtyard well, and other hidden corners.

    • Fun fact: Princess Ilena ran the castle as a hospital during World War II. She named it 'The Hospital of the Queen’s Heart' and provided treatment for wounded soldiers from Brasov.

    I thought Bran Castle was Excellent & the Surrounding Markets it was a great experience the exhibits were very good, it is very busy at this time of year nearing Halloween but that didn't dampen the visit will have to come again someday we'll worth the visit

    Atmosphere for Halloween atmospheric and well maintained! Besides the wonderful castle also ugly the outline very nice. Very crowded but the experience is worth experiencing.

    The overall experience was great, the only downside is that there were a lot of people and you could not enjoy the inside of the castle as you would like.
