Well worth the visit for the scale and history of the palace. Reception staff etc were friendly and helpful, and it wasn't busy, so plenty of time to absorb the detail.

There was no one at the meeting point as suggested; we arrived 15 minutes early and had to look for her for quite a while. The audio guide isn't very comprehensive; the palace has many rooms, but only a few are included in the audio guide, and they're listed in no particular order.

It was not made clear as to our meeting point, we thought it would be at the entrance to the building. The audio guide was just dates and I would have preferred incidents, audio disappeared half way round and couldn't get back onto it
