The ticket works well, but I found the check-in/check-out system a bit complicated when you only have a QR code on your phone and the x3. It's no problem on the subway, but when getting off the tram, it can be a bit stressful.

I have never seen a better-developed public transport system in Europe, and the friendliness of the staff was truly amazing! Every 5 minutes in all directions—really great. The only thing that's a little annoying is the check-out process. What's the point of that?

Amsterdam is super organized: punctual, clean and frequent transportation even at rush hour. It was a bit crowded in the central areas, but nothing unmanageable. I got around from the center to the more distant neighborhoods without stress and saw a lot of places that would have been unfeasible on foot.
