A very interesting visit Through the exhibition of paintings, it effectively traces the artistic life of Florence and the lives of the important figures who have left their mark on the city. We discovered masterpieces, including the semi-precious stone inlays on the tables. We didn't even notice the time passing.

I didn't use your tickets. Remember? I had problems getting my husband's ticket - a second ticket with a separate barcode. I was SO FRUSTRATED by Headout's handling of this I ended up buying tickets from one of your competitors. After this bad experience with Headout, I'll never use them again!!

Francesca is delightful and knowledgeable. Her passion for Florence, its history, and its art was evident throughout the tour. I will seek her out to lead tours in the future and would recommend her heartily to friends and family.

We made the reservation 48 hours in advance without any trouble, arrived right on time, and got through quickly despite the crowds. We listened to the audio guide and explored a magnificent place. We don't regret this visit at all. Even the weather was beautiful.

Avoid the Group tours by getting there early preferably 08:15 when the doors open. Go straight to the top floor for the modern art galleries. I managed to walk though these rooms practically on my own as everyone seemed to cram into the palace rooms on the first floor, which are worth a walk though. There are very little plaques to give content and history. Seems that they want you to purchase the audio tour as well. The next best thing about the palace are the gardens although much seemed to be draped in scaffolding for renovation. What with that and the palace treasure rooms being closed, I feel that this should have been reflected in the ticket price. Be very aware that every church, museum, palace and gallery has a price to get in so choose wisely.

The artwork in the Pitti Palace and the building and decor were stunning and entry was no problem with the ticket purchased via Headout. We had a problem with entry to the Boboli Gardens and the audio guide though, but Headout sorted the issue impressively quickly and sympathetically. Be aware that audio guides can be sourced too at the venue. The views from the top of the gardens were lovely; the gardens less so. Much was either not open, or under renovation so couldn't be accessed. The rest was rather unkempt and looked unloved, which was a shame - a nice quiet place for a stroll though.

The Pitti Palace is just filled with amazing artwork. I had a hard time getting the audio portion to aline with what I was seeing. It might have been operator error, but I did find it frustrating. The part I really enjoyed was the clothing section. So facinating to see the styles of clothing evolve and change over time. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't impressed with the gardens. There wasn't much to see. it offered a beautiful view of the city, but we were not impressed by the planting.

We arrived on time with the audio guide we’d downloaded in advance (the signal isn’t very strong inside the building). The audio guide was very clear and packed with information. The only suggestion I would make is to highlight on the map the rooms the audio is discussing at that moment. Some of them weren’t accessible, so it was a bit difficult to follow along. Very positive rating.
