It was amazing to be inside such an iconic building where the Royal family have lived for so long, to walk in the same places as them and all the other world famous people who have visited the palace for different reasons. We didn't have a personal guided tour, but used the headset which was very easy to use and easy to listen to. We saw more rooms than I had imagined beforehand - 13 different locations - and were not rushed to leave after our allotted time. To actually stand so close to the two thrones was awesome. The prices charged in the shop and Tearoom, however, were eye watering! Two cardboard cups of tea and a raspberry tart (it was delicious though) cost just a fraction less than our dinner the night before!!

From arriving and receiving the tickets the process was seamless and very well organised. The headsets were great and everyone moved at their own pace and could experience the rooms with ease. There was also a family option which meant the children were engaged looking for the items in the room and checking them off. I personally would have liked the option to learn about all of the paintings or objects which were limited to a few per room but I understand not everyone would enjoy that. The gardens were lovely and lots of options for ice cream or food at the end with a gift shop too. A super experience and would recommend

The rooms themselves were magnificent, but what made our visit was the kindness of the wardens. We were a group of 4 frriends visiting London. In the run-up to our trip I twisted my knee exercising and my friend lifted a heavy object. We were both on meds for pain. When we heard that the tour let us leave by the gardens, we realized we would have to walk all the way around the palace and gardens to get to our next stop at The King's Gallery. The wardens arranged for us to ride a golf cart to the front gate of the palace and they let us out there reducing the amount of steps for us. They couldn't have been nicer.

Well organised very welcoming. Easy process. Very interesting and lots to see. The crowds weren't too busy when we visited. Gifts and food were on the expensive side.
