SoloVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5I’d like to share the extraordinary experience I had during my recent visit to Vatican City. What began as a simple trip from Rimini to take a friend to Fiumicino Airport turned into an unforgettable adventure. I finally fulfilled my dream of visiting the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. A special thank you goes to our guide, Alberto, who guided us with extraordinary passion for over four hours. His commentary was essential to fully appreciating the history and details of the masterpieces we admired, especially the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. Entering the Chapel was a moment of pure emotion; the grandeur of the artwork is truly breathtaking. The Basilica was equally evocative; these are places where the majesty of human creation seems almost otherworldly. It was an experience I would repeat without hesitation, and one I highly recommend to anyone who has not yet visited these extraordinary places.MMaria L
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Firstly, the precision with which the pre-details of the tours were given, the organization of the office staff that received us, and how welcome we felt upon arrival were what stood out the most at the start of our tour. All agents were extremely friendly and could converse with us in multiple languages, making us feel very comfortable. Secondly, we had an incredible tour guide. Our guide, Claudia, was SO knowledgeable, extremely respectful, and very graceful/patient with all the group members, always taking into account their specific needs. She answered questions with expertise and was extremely kind.AAndrea B
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We accidentally went to the wrong place and thank goodness because they were extremely rude (Touristation Vaticano). Once we got to our correct meeting place, we were greeted with great enthusiasm. In fact, they even called to check our ETA. Our tour guide, Alex, was fantastic and his English was very good. There is A LOT to see at these three places and he helped to navigate it with ease. We waited in line briefly but the crowds were not too bad. Alex was very knowledgeable and his jokes made the tour even more entertaining. For the money and the ease of mind, it was definitely worth it.MMarco C
CoupleVerified booking6 days ago5/5The tour is worth the money. It’s not cheap compared to the standard admission price, but it’s absolutely worth it. Our experience was incredibly positive from the very beginning—starting with the text message from Massimo asking if we were having trouble finding the meeting spot, all the way to our guide Antonella, who masterfully led us through the various rooms of the Vatican Museums, providing us with lots of details and interesting facts and answering all our questions. Thanks to these tickets, we skipped the entire line and always had priority access. Highly recommended.MMiroslav M
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5We selected guided visit of the Basilica in English. Our guide picked up us at the coffee bar with sun umbrellas and we could take a rest in a shadow before a visit. It was 35 degrees on sun. Our guide was excellent story teller and told us a lot of exciting information. Visit lasted 1,5 hour and was very interested. All questions were answered and we were also acompanied to the elevator for the Dome visit. Dome visit worths en effort to take 220 steps to see picturesque views of the whole Roma not only Vaticano. It was fantastic!

What to expect
St. Peter's Basilica
Your visit centers on St. Peter's Basilica, the principal Papal church and one of the largest churches in the world.

Benefit from skip-the-line entry, if you select this option, to bypass the regular queues and enter more quickly with your group.

St. Peter's Square
Some options add time in the vast St. Peter's Square, framed by Bernini's colonnades.
Features
-
Take part in a guided visit to St. Peter's Square, if you select this option, to understand the layout of the piazza, its central obelisk, and the sweeping semicircular colonnades.
-
Learn how the square is used for Papal ceremonies and audiences, and how it connects visually and symbolically to the Basilica facade.
-
Rely on assistance from local staff, if you select this option, for orientation, check-in, and navigating between the square and the Basilica entrance.

Several variants go deeper underground into key burial spaces below the Basilica floor.
Features
-
Access the Papal Grottoes, if you select this option, to explore the underground area that houses chapels and tombs of former popes.
-
Visit the Tomb of Saint Peter, if you select this option, and hear about the traditions that link this site to the apostle regarded as the first pope.

Dome climb with breakfast
Some tours pair an early dome climb with a light meal.
Features
-
Begin with an Italian breakfast included, if you select this option, so you can recharge before starting the dome ascent and Basilica visit.
-
Combine guided entry to St. Peter's Basilica and the dome with elevator access to the base and stairs to the top, if you select this option, for a complete vertical experience of the church.
-
Continue with the guided exploration of the Papal Tombs after your climb, linking the views from the summit to the history held beneath the church.
Wrapping up
If you select a Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel option, your route typically finishes inside St. Peter's Basilica after using the special passage, leaving you free to stay and explore independently once the guided portion ends. Choosing dome or VIP variants adds Michelangelo’s Dome, the Papal Grottoes, and, in some cases, the Tomb of Saint Peter or an Italian breakfast, so you can tailor the depth and height of your visit to your interests.
