Melbourne for art & culture lovers

I have a long and passionate interest in photography and I thought this era of 20th century photography would be both historical and important. It was both and I loved the many different subject matters, themes and the various materials and processes used to capture their images. I would thoroughly recommend this exhibition to anyway with a passing interest in the hisory of phototgraphy and photography as an art form

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got to the museum. IT WAS AMAZING!! This place went above and beyond all my expectations!! This is my first time in Australia and it was wonderful to learn about the culture and the exhibits were the best I have ever seen!! Bravo!!

The exhibition was great with lots of information. I particularly appreciated the 6 "closer look" manipulated images of 6 items as the actual relics are too small for my eyes to see the intricate details. I was not so impressed with museum staff.
