This was my 3rd or 4th time seeing "Phantom" in the theater. My first viewing was in Los Angeles decades ago and possibly one other time, as well as on Broadway and now London. This was the BEST performance so far. The London cast simply blew this musical away. And it's changed so little over the past 39 years since it first came out, yet it remains captivating and enchanting to this day. Well done by everybody... the performers, the orchestra, and of course all the back stage crew working the lights, the sound, the sets, the flies, etc. You brought the magic and the tragic story to life.

The Phantom of the Opera tells the sad story of a disfigured musical genius who lives hidden under the Paris Opera. Rejected since childhood, he finds comfort only in music and dreams of love. He falls deeply for Christine, but his love is full of loneliness and pain. In the sequel, Love Never Dies, the Phantom lives in America, still longing for Christine. They meet again, but tragedy follows as Christine dies, leaving the Phantom alone with his sorrow. Both musicals show the Phantom’s endless loneliness, unfulfilled love, and tragic fate.

I love the His Magestiy's Theater, staff were pleasant and helpful. The Phantom of the Opera shiw was phenomenal, with good variation from the POTO show I saw here in 2018. The major characters were awesome in their acting and rendition of the dongs. My favorite , of course, were Christine and the Phantom. Their voices were so captivatingly beautiful. I love the new chandelier and the bright costumes. Thank you for the great shiw, my husband and I love it. Matinee shiw worked for us, esp with this long show.

Seeing Phantom of the Opera was nothing short of breathtaking—a timeless masterpiece that continues to mesmerize audiences with its haunting beauty and emotional depth. From the moment the overture began, the music filled the theater with a sense of grandeur and anticipation that only Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score can deliver. The staging was spectacular. Every set change felt cinematic—the grand chandelier, the smoky underground lair, and the opulent opera house all drew you completely into the story. The lighting and effects were masterfully designed to highlight the contrast between light and shadow, beauty and darkness. The cast delivered unforgettable performances. The Phantom’s voice was both powerful and heartbreaking, filled with longing and pain that made his character achingly human. Christine’s purity and strength shone through each aria, and their duets were some of the most emotionally charged moments of the night. Of course, the music remains the true star. Classics like “The Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” and “Masquerade” were performed with such precision and passion that it felt like hearing them for the first time. Overall, Phantom of the Opera is more than a musical—it’s an experience. Whether you’ve seen it before or it’s your first time, it leaves you enchanted long after the curtain falls.

The theatre staff are friendly, helpful, smart and obviously enjoy their part in the running of each performance. The production is as amazing an experience as the first time seen in 1987 and a couple of times when touring but His Majesty's Theatre makes it that little bit more special. Wonderful cast and vibrant voices. A truly memorable afternoon in clean, comfortable and intimate surroundings. Loved it!

The music was fantastic and the theatrical effects were awesome! If you did nit know the half circles when booking a ticket means there are obstructions in the way of your view. If you get a seat in the stalls thats further back then you wont be able to see the stage when they are moving up on top which happens a bit in this opera.
