Very talented performers. Boy playing oliver was good, same for actress that played nancy and artful dodger. A patron sitting next to me annoyingly mentioned that phones needed to be turned off prior to the start of the performance even though it hadn’t started. When in London follow the rules people.

I absolutely loved the show! The actors, the voices, and the atmosphere were truly mesmerizing. Every single cast member was phenomenal, and it was so clear how much hard work and dedication had gone into this production over the months. Really enjoyed the show. Knocked one star off as was not happy not being able to access the tickets until 24hrs before the performance. As we were travelling I was not able to print off the tickets and when we got to the theatre they wouldn't accept the barcode. Luckily they printed off tickets for me but was stressful at the time.

My husband and I planned a 4-day trip to London to wrap up our recent European adventure. A highlight was enjoying two shows. We love that in London we can simply walk to the theaters from our hotel in Trafalgar Square and it seems so much easier than going to a show on Broadway. Ordering our tickets through Headout could not have been simpler and our seats were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed both shows -- Oliver and Moulin Rouge. Our seats were great and we enjoyed the intimacy of the theaters and the lively audience. Highly recommend Headout!

Written by Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist was critically acclaimed for exposing the cruel treatment of orphans during the mid-19th century and also its unromantic portrayal of the lives of criminals. Award-winning dramatist Bryony Lavery has adapted this tale in conjunction with Leeds Playhouse to put disabled artists on center stage. Amy Leach, who has directed The Wonderful Wizard of OZ, The Shelter, and We All Fall Down is all set to direct the production which promises to dazzle audiences from across the world!

The story

Born into a poor family, Oliver Twist is left orphaned after his father’s mysterious disappearance and his mother’s death during childbirth. Oliver finds a home in a sweatshop, where he is mistreated. Soon, however, Oliver encounters Artful Dodger and Fagin and joins their troupe of pickpockets. He revels in this new exciting and adventurous life as a criminal. His happiness, however, is short-lived and he finds himself falling under the influence of the vile Bill Sykes. Will Oliver be able to turn around a life filled with misfortune and poverty?

I found headouts helpful suggestions for my time in London saved me lots of time and research as they thoughtfully provided me with what else I could do when in London. Oliver was great, had a brilliant evening out with the family and we all throughly enjoyed the production. The show was filled with dance, music and humour.

Talent of all actors/ performers most especially the children, so young and so incredibly gifted. But also the adults with such brilliant voices and character roles. It's simply a brilliant story to perform and songs of which I remember so well from movie and a very vague memory of seeing this stage showing Sydney aeons ago.

The characters Nancy, Fagan and Oliver were truly amazing. The staging and choreography was astonishing for such a small stage. I was initially reluctant to go but my wife had seen Oliver as a child and remembered it fondly from Broadway. Honestly, it was one of the best musicals I've ever seen! Go! You'll love it too.
