My recent Budapest river cruise booked through Headout was easily the highlight of my trip to Hungary. From start to finish, the process was seamless; the booking platform was user-friendly, and the digital tickets made boarding at the dock quick and hassle-free. The cruise itself offered breathtaking views of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Seeing the Hungarian Parliament Building and Buda Castle illuminated at night from the water is a completely different experience than seeing them from land. The boat was well-maintained and offered a comfortable, cozy atmosphere despite the evening chill. I particularly appreciated the welcome drink included with my ticket, which was a nice touch as we set sail. The audio guide provided fascinating historical context about the bridges and architecture, making the journey both relaxing and educational. Whether you are looking for a romantic evening or just a great way to see the sights without the crowds, I highly recommend booking this through Headout. It is excellent value for the price and a must-do for anyone visiting Budapest!

The Széchenyi Baths in Budapest are an experience you absolutely must have at least once. The place is stunning, with impressive architecture and outdoor thermal pools that are amazing, especially in winter. The atmosphere is top-notch: you can relax in the warm waters while watching people play chess or simply enjoying the moment. It’s the perfect way to unwind for a couple of hours. That said, it’s important to note: it’s usually pretty crowded and can feel a bit overcrowded at times, especially if you go during peak hours. Even so, there are plenty of pools and space to move around. Overall, it’s a highly recommended experience: it’s not the quietest place in the world, but it is one of the most iconic and special spots in Budapest. If you can, go early or at sunset to enjoy it to the fullest.

“I had an amazing time at both Sparty and Széchenyi Baths. Széchenyi Baths were absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture, relaxing thermal pools, and a really unique atmosphere that made the whole experience feel special. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy one of Budapest’s most famous attractions. Sparty was a completely different vibe, but just as unforgettable — energetic, fun, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The music, lights, and overall atmosphere were incredible, and it was such a fun way to enjoy the baths at night. I really enjoyed both experiences and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Budapest, whether you’re looking to relax, have fun, or both.

Both experiences were amazing. The spa was very relaxing, especially when you can enjoy both cold and hot pools, as well as saunas. We went on a sunny day and had a great time both outside and inside—you really have to make the most of it. I recommend spending at least four hours to visit all the facilities. As for the cruise, it was much more crowded and there were a lot of children. We took the 7:30 p.m. tour. For this simple reason, I’d recommend going later—around 9:00 p.m. would be great—so there are fewer people and fewer children. The views are spectacular.

It was super easy with the clear instructions and bookings. We literally had to just reach the place on time and rest was all taken care of. The thermal baths will be remembered experience for long especially the hot and cold combination. Aroma and salt based sauna experience was thrilling. The boat ride was simply amazing as we got to know so much about Budapest and Hungary history. Also we saw the sunset and the lighting of various important monuments. We will remember this forever and will try to come back and book via you guys only.

Very safe and clean environment. The " cabin" was well worth the expense. Staff welcoming and professional. Huge spectrum of international customers and all well behaved. We arrived by Bolt taxi but on leaving walked 800 metres through a Park to Heroes' Square and No: 9 stop for the Red line Hop on and Hop Off Bus. Highly trecommend. Also the Terracotta Warriors Exhibition at The Fine Arts museum by Heroes' Square well worth a visit. Sadly due to Brexit UK passport Ho;ders charged and EU citizens of a certain age exempt.

A magical experience in Budapest! The combination of the night cruise and the thermal baths is perfect. We didn't do both on the same day, which gave us plenty of time! The cruise with the easy-to-download audio guide was superb. The thermal baths are a must-see in Budapest. To really enjoy them, you have to go early in the morning! Otherwise, it gets really crowded! Don’t miss the locals playing chess in the pool!

The tour of the parliament was great, and the ticket distribution was very well organized. The interior is truly magnificent. As for the thermal baths, I recommend booking private changing rooms so you can get changed comfortably and keep your belongings safe. The setting is incredible. It’s hard to get out of the water once you’re in 😍
  • Pro tip: Plan your visit

Both experiences can be done in one relaxed day. Most guests spend a few hours at Széchenyi Spa first, then join an evening or sunset Danube cruise once they’ve changed and had a break. Since your cruise time is fixed at checkout, pick a slot that leaves enough time to get there from the baths (they’re about 3 km apart).
