St Stephen's is the most lavish cathedral I have ever visited - talk about awe and wonder! My photos do not do it justice. It is well worth paying the extra for the panoramic view. Lots of steps up (over 300!) but there is also an elevator. The Headout skip the line ticket is a must - people were queuing down the street at the ticket office, but there is a separate entrance for online bookings, where there was no queue at all. The ticket is valid for entry any time from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Our visit to St Stephen's Basilica was made so easy by being able to collect the tickets from the pick up point, beating the long line of queuing visitors. The architecture is breathtaking both inside and out with incredible attention to detail, the stunning artwork, magnificent dome and beautifully decorated interior make it a must-see for anyone visiting the city

I booked for 9am timed entry. Was given instructions to collect tickets 20 MINUTES BEFORE entry time from the guide holding a red umbrella OUTSIDE the ticket office. I have to go INSIDE the ticket office at 9am (ticket office ONLY opens at 9am sharp) to redeem my tickets. Why am I asked to come so early? Where is the guide with red umbrella? Make my family rush for nothing so early in the morning and with all the wrong instructions!
