The entry queues even for people with pre-paid short queue tickets were poorly organised with no signs and ended up being long queues. In the queue we were treated a bit like cattle being quashed and herded together and it was a very unfortable experience. Even when we eventually arrived at the entrance we still had another long wait to get through security. Eventually we arrived inside St Peters after 2 hours of queuing. I bought short queue tickets so that my 82 year old grandmother with me would not have to stand for a long time in the queue. In the end it was all a big con. with these on-line short queue ticket sales.

As we were standing in line listening to the Guide my fiancee (who i had JUST asked to marry me IN the Sistine Chapel the previous Sunday before) turned to me and exclaimed as to how much she liked the information provided and in general HOW he did it and how "cute" this older gentleman was :) we LOVED the dome climb and using the elevator was the best call EVER!! OF COURSE the Basilica was STUPENDOUS (brought me to tears at one point) and the audio tour for it was helpful and informative. I will definitely be recommending you to friends that are visiting soon! Thank you and keep up the good work! Tom and Belinda

The visit was great. We arrived at the square and the girls from the company registered our tickets on their phones and gave us printed tickets with QR codes to present at the door. As we had booked a guide, they escorted us to the door and left us there. On the way, we talked to one of the guides, who gave me lots of information and was very, very friendly. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Definitely skip the line. A short queue with others who have the same ticket. The audio guide starts the tour heading towards the altar. But tourists don't go to the back of the cathedral without seeing the beginning! It's so fascinating that you don't go in and rush to the back.... I would suggest moving the audio guide descriptions at the end (Michelangelo, etc.) to the beginning.

I liked how easy it was to buy the ticket, but I didn't like that the company we were booking with wasn't specified, because when we arrived at the meeting point there were several companies and we didn't know which one was ours. The person who accompanied us was barely communicative, they took us to the elevator and didn't tell us anything about what we had to do there.

The guide was very easy to meet and escorted us all the way into the Basilica up to the Dome entrance. We downloaded the audio guide with no problems and it was very informative. Wonderful, stress-free tour! Thank you!
