Received some refund for undelivered Audio Guide service. It wiuld have been a 5 start if our tickets have been delivered as promised, but I had to followup them on the day of the scheduled tour as our tickets are not available yet. - Sleeveless or low-cut tops, shorts above the knee, miniskirts, and hats are not allowed inside the Basilica.
Accessibility
- The lift only reaches the first terrace; 320 steps follow to the top, so it’s not wheelchair accessible.
Additional information
- Please arrive at St. Peter’s Square at least 45 minutes before your scheduled entry for security checks and ticket validation.
- The entire experience takes about 2 to 3 hours.
- The digital audio guide tour includes 12 stops and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.
- Additional time is needed if you choose to climb the dome’s 320 steps after taking the lift to the first terrace.
- You will receive a QR code via email 24 hours before your visit. The email will contain two separate tickets. One ticket is for entry to St. Peter’s Basilica, and the other ticket includes a link to download the digital audio guide. You must use the provided link to download the app and activate your audio guide before your visit.
- Please bring a smartphone with internet access and personal headphones to use the audio guide inside the Basilica.
- This experience is not suitable for people with heart conditions. It is also not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.
- Visitors with reduced mobility should not take this tour. Pregnant visitors are not advised to join this experience.
- Pets and infants are not allowed inside the Basilica.
- Cloakroom services are not available on-site. Large bags, backpacks, and strollers are not permitted inside the Basilica.
- Children aged 6 and above are allowed to join the visit.
- All visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
