What a great experience, booking here allowed us to skip the line and walk right in. my partner and I started At 9:30 when it wasn't super busy yet and took a beautiful walk along the south walls while we drank our coffees from the stand right past the entrance, we made our way to the gardens and into the castle walls to explore the towers overlooking every direction. The museum and archeological site were nice as well. We ended at the restaurant on the east wall for a drink before leaving. Great experience! The line was super long leaving so I'm glad I booked on Headout before hand!

Getting tickets ahead of time saved me approx 45 minutes of waiting. There was a long line I was able to skip and just walk right in with my tickets. The castle offers great views of the city. The audio portion was also helpful to learn about what you were looking at. I'd say try to download that before getting to the castle. 10/10. The walk up is steep. Be sure to take water and wear sneakers.

The line was a bit long when we arrived, so having tickets ahead of time was perfect. Scanning it was a bit difficult, so the worker helped and it worked. I would suggest going on a day that isn't super windy, we had to since it was our last chance to go. The views were beautiful and there were a lot of peacocks, which was a pleasant surprise!

When we arrived, we made our reservation online, as there were many people waiting to buy tickets. This saved us a lot of time, which allowed us to spend more time exploring the castle instead of wasting time in line to buy tickets.

Really liked the view from the castle! Beautiful!!! Seeing the live peacocks roaming around was a pleasant surprise. Liked that you could walk the grounds of the castle and also climb up to lookout points to take more photos at an even higher level. Also liked that I had an option to see only the outside of the castle. To see inside there was a different rate which is totally understandable. Didn't have the time to do inside and out. Will definitely do this the next time I'm back!! Highly recommend.

Wonderful Walking Tour of São Jorge Castle! I had such a great experience on this tour of São Jorge Castle. Easy to book. There is a small extra cost to use the service, but the only problem is that the tickets arrive within two hours. I booked for myself and my newborn baby, and we waited about an hour before receiving them.

The castle has a beautiful view. We walked around the lower part, which consists of several cloisters and the wall above. The stairs can be a bit challenging for those who are not very mobile.
