Absolutely worth it, especially in high season! We visited Pompeii in the middle of August, and there was an absolutely incredible queue at the entrance. Luckily, we had bought our tickets online through Headout, so we simply showed our tickets at the entrance and walked straight in without having to wait in the long line. It saved us so much time and stress, especially in the summer heat. The whole process was easy and convenient, and the tickets worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend using Headout when visiting popular attractions during peak season!

You really have to see Pompeii if you are in the area; its scale is incomprehensible. In my fantasy, I had expected more of those petrified people, but the times they were on display, it was very impressive. The only thing I found very disappointing is that we only found out once we were in the park that the villa costs extra to visit.

Siamo arrivati a Pompei con l idea di trovare le solite rovine di molte zone archeologiche, ovvero resti di costruzioni ma quasi tutte a meno di un metro da terra e comunque non composte da vani in cui entrare. Pompei è realmente unica e per le menti particolarmente creative ti catapulta in quel mondo antico. Davvero strabiliante!

It was remarkable! Everything they've done to date and are still doing to restore and recover from the catastrophic eruption that consumed all of Pompeii. We went two days back to back and I still want to go back and see it again.

The heat was heating, but Pompeii was very interesting and beautiful. Bought tickets online and entry was quick and simple using my phone.

Ho visitato il Parco Archeologico di Pompei e devo dire che è stata un'emozione indescrivibile. Non mi aspettavo una città così immensa e ben conservata, sembra davvero di fare un salto indietro nel tempo di 2000 anni. Camminare per le strade originali, entrare nelle case, nelle terme e nel Foro è qualcosa che ti lascia senza parole. Si percepisce la vita quotidiana dei romani in ogni dettaglio, dagli affreschi ai mosaici fino alle scritte sui muri. Il sito è enormemente grande, quindi consiglio scarpe comode e almeno 4-5 ore di tempo. Ho trovato tutto molto ben organizzato, con mappe chiare e personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Il momento più toccante è stato vedere i calchi delle vittime e l'Anfiteatro. Un'esperienza che consiglio a tutti, italiani e stranieri, almeno una volta nella vita. Un patrimonio unico al mondo. Tornerò sicuramente per vedere le nuove domus appena riaperte!

Le site de Pompéi est passionnant, on peut s'y perdre des heures et encore découvrir des nouveautés. La communication de headout est bonne, avec des rappels avant le jour J. L'application pour l'audio guide fonctionne très bien mais n'est pas très intuitive, j'ai dû passer un peu de temps avant de bien comprendre comment déclancher les lectures correspondants aux points d'intérêts visités. L'audio guide pourrait être amélioré avec une petite phase de tutoriel avant de commencer la visite. Je note également que 2 heures avant ma visite et même la veille, l'application ne fonctionnait pas du tout et plantait sur un écran fixe alors que ma connexion était bonne. Heureusement, ça a fonctionné en arrivant sur le site.

Pompéi c'est vraiment une expérience incroyable à faire. Je conseille d'y aller tôt pour éviter la foule et la chaleur. Beaucoup de gens pensent qu'il faut prendre une visite guidée alors que pas du tout. Je trouve plus sympa de se renseigner avant et de cible les lieux qu'on veut voir puis écouter leur histoire avec l'audioguide. Le fait de se déplacer sur le site en cherchant soit même sur le plan rend l'aventure plus sympa. Flâner dans les ruines c'est vraiment magique. Évitez les groupes avec des visites guidées. Prenez votre propre chemin.
