Went with my boyfriend and we had THE BEST day at Pompeii. Our guide (Matteo? I think?) was hilarious and knew soooo many weird facts—like about the bakeries and the stray dogs. Weather was HOT, so bring water. Btw you can’t always find shade so sunscreen up. The ruins are much bigger than I thought, we didn’t see half of it. Wish the tour was longer but still, def worth it. Next time, bringing a hat!

Really cool trip, went with my parents. Pompeii is HUGE, honestly kinda overwhelming at first. We got a bit lost in the forum but the guide found us (oops). Audio headsets worked fine, but mine had a bit of static sometimes. Still, learned a lot about the volcano, and the frescoes are wild. Crowds were a bit much by noon, so maybe go earlier if you can.

Epic day at Pompeii. Took my teenage son and he actually put his phone away for once! The guide was super energetic, made history sound like a Netflix drama (in a good way). Heads up: lots and lots of walking, uneven stones, so wear sneakers. Loved the old amphitheater and the plaster casts—kinda haunting but fascinating. Would go again.

Wow, just wow. I went solo, joined a small group tour. The guide (Francesco) was so patient with everyone’s questions (some folks asked weird stuff lol). We even stopped for gelato after, which was a nice surprise. The site is MASSIVE. Got some cool pics, though you can’t go into every building. Wear comfy shoes or you’ll regret it.

Pompeii was even better than I expected. Our group was pretty small so it felt more personal. The tour leader made sure everyone was comfy and the driver was super friendly. Got to see the ancient bakery and the baths – still can’t believe they had steam rooms back then. Bus was clean, AC was EPIC. Would def recommend.
