It was fantastic from start to finish. Lovely people checked us in, and then one took us on the short walk to the gondola. Our gondalier was lovely and took us on a fabulously peaceful tour of the back street canals before emerging back onto mainstream Venice. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

WARNING! The guide (who is also the photographer) was 20 minutes late. We had no contact with him or with the agency providing the service. When you book a 90-minute gondola ride with a photographer, keep in mind that 60 of those minutes are a photo shoot on land, and the remaining 30 are a gondola ride through the small canals. A week later, I still haven’t received the photos from the session.

Just the calm, pretty "stroll" through the Grande (and side) canals was fantastic. I only wish the "driver" could have pointed out the "hidden" gems... he said nothing the entire half hour.

The gondola ride was wonderful. Venice was packed with tourists, but our gondolier, Davide, showed us canals lined with charming palaces and told us about the history of Venice’s neighborhoods. I recommend providing clearer directions to the meeting point to avoid wasting time.

Host greeted well took us to the gondola, we were able to get in quick but the gondola ride it self was shorter than the time given and the guide hasn't provided much info.
