Getting started
Your ticket includes a 4.5-hour whale watching cruise departing from Viaduct Harbour. Arrive 15–20 minutes early for boarding and check-in before stepping onboard for your Hauraki Gulf marine adventure.

What to bring
- Bring your camera, binoculars, wind/shower-proof jacket, sun hat, sunscreen and sunglasses and seasickness medications.
What’s not allowed
- Smoking and vaping are not allowed onboard.

Guests using light/manual wheelchairs can usually be accommodated if they have some mobility. There are two steps at the boarding area that guests must be able to manage (carer assistance is allowed).

Not all areas of the vessel, including some viewing decks, are wheelchair accessible

The main indoor area has a door sill of about 15 cm and restrooms also have a 15 cm door sill and limited space inside.

Heavy or motorised wheelchairs are not suitable, as they cannot be lifted onboard. The maximum wheelchair width allowed onboard is 67 cm.
