Very nice cruise with a welcome drink. I suggest scheduling the pass in front of the Parliament at the end of the tour, not at the beginning when it isn't lit up yet.

The trip was good and the staff was okay. I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time thst St. Stephens and Parliament building would not be lit due to them trying to conserve energy. That was my reason for going in the evening and not during the day.

The welcome drink is a nice touch. However, at 7 p.m. in the summer, the cruise isn't a night cruise. It's another way to see the sights. We had a quarter of an hour to see the sights lit up.

Glide past the striking Parliament Building, the neo-Gothic Matthias Church, the majestic Buda Castle, and other landmarks as they come alive under the night sky.

Fun fact: The majestic stone lions on the Chain Bridge, connecting Buda and Pest, caused quite a stir! The sculptor proudly declared them flawless, but when someone claimed they had no tongues, he was so embarrassed he allegedly jumped into the Danube. (Spoiler: they actually do have tongues; they are just not easily visible from below!)

The cruise kicks off at 7pm; arrive a few minutes early to settle in comfortably.

For the best view of Buda Castle, head to the left side of the ship as you face forward.

As you pass under the Chain Bridge, don’t forget to wave at the locals. It’s a fun tradition!
