My wife and I did the Westminster Pier -> Greenwich Pier cruise by City Cruises back in 2023 and really enjoyed it, especially the entertaining live commentary. Last weekend we met up with friends over from Australia and went again with them, as we knew they’d enjoy it. The live commentary was just as entertaining and the weather was better this time too! If you don’t have much time in London, this is a good value trip and a great way to see some of the city, whilst also being entertained!

Good commentary amusing and informative, only downside was boat cancelled coming back so we took a later one. One of the staff but sorry cannot remember name was very helpful and told us about the Greenwich to Westminster cancellation so we went for a coffee rather than stand for an hour.

Great cruise, live commentary was good, quite funny and very informative but he does mention that he is not paid to do this, it's a way of gaining tips. Something to be aware of, we have all paid to be on the cruise we shouldn't be made to feel we have to tip as well.

The orator made it so interactive. He was very clear about the stories of the different London monuments and pulled our attention to things we probably didn't pay attention to before. London Bridge, the dragons, the London Eye, memorable experience.
