Take your first scuba dive with certified PADI instructors and experience the thrill of exploring Adventure Cove's Open Ocean Habitat alongside majestic marine animals. No prior diving experience or certification is required.

Getting started

Arrive at Adventure Cove Waterpark and check in for your scheduled Discover Scuba Diving programme. Meet your PADI instructor, complete the required briefing, and get fitted with your scuba equipment before training begins.

What to expect

Learn the basics of scuba diving: Start with a PADI Discover Scuba Diving session covering essential diving theory, safety procedures, equipment use, and confined-water practice to prepare you for your first dive.

Dive into the Open Ocean Habitat: Descend 12 metres with your instructor into the Open Ocean Habitat, where you'll encounter manta rays, sharks, and other marine species in a controlled environment.

Dive with confidence: Your certified PADI instructor accompanies you throughout the experience, ensuring you're comfortable and supported every step of the way.

Everything you need is included: All scuba equipment and a wetsuit are provided, and you'll receive a course booklet and a certificate of completion to mark your first diving experience.

Enjoy Adventure Cove Waterpark: After your dive, make the most of your one-day admission with access to Adventure Cove Waterpark's water slides, wave pools, and Adventure River.

What to bring

Wear proper swimwear. A wetsuit and all scuba diving equipment will be provided.

Arrive at the Adventure Cove Waterpark Guest Services Counter at least 30 minutes before your scheduled programme.

What's not allowed

Photography is not permitted in training areas, back-of-house areas, or during the dive.

Only programme participants are allowed in the training and back-of-house areas.

Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the programme.

Accessibility

No prior scuba diving experience or certification is required.

Additional information

Participants must complete and sign the liability and medical/health declaration forms before the programme. For participants under 18, these forms must be signed onsite by a parent or legal guardian.

Participants must be 10 years or older.

Guests with chronic health conditions, certain medications, or recent surgery may need written approval from a physician before participating.

Avoid air travel for 12 hours after a single dive and 18 hours after multiple dives.

The programme is conducted in English, lasts approximately 2 hours, and is limited to 4 participants.

Classes may be adjusted or postponed due to weather or operational requirements.

Singapore Oceanarium will operate on Saturday, 8 August, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
