Our driver Waleed was AMAZING!! It was nice to go see Stonehenge on our way back to London from the cruise terminal. The vehicle had plenty of room and was a nice ride. Kudos to Waleed for navigating the London traffic for us!

The tickets weren't sent to us even though we asked multiple times, in the end we had to contact the local supplier directly to get the tickets, and then the train return time was fixed even though it said it was flexible Salisbury and Stonehenge were worth visiting though and the train journeys were smooth

The history, the bucolic surroundings, moments to take photos with no humans, just Stonehenge! Photos with me and my hubby with Stonehenge behind us. Being around an international crowd. Being at an international heritage site! The man who sold the tickets was knowledgeable and helpful. It was an overall wonderful day, which was followed by Cerne Abbas for the chalk horse! My wife and I enjoy taking a bus trip out there, on arrival the vibe was truely amazing, we then took the short bus trip out to inspect the stone, certainly enjoying the scenery and the walk around, was slightly windy, suggesting a light jacket to wear. On return we entered the gift shop and bought some local wine which is highly recommended. All in all a great experience. Paul & Anna Australia

There was no line to wait for entrance. Having the buses to ride to the sight was very much appreciated. I enjoyed not having an enormous crowd of people to naviagte through. It was a great idea to schedule visiting times as it kept things running smooth. Also, the staff were very friendly.

Follow the paths around Stonehenge, then explore the visitor centre exhibits and step inside Neolithic houses built using ancient construction methods.

Step into Salisbury Cathedral and walk through high vaulted spaces, then enter the Chapter House to see the Magna Carta displayed in a quiet room.

The newer visitor center makes visiting Stonehedge easy and organized. The beautiful countryside that surrounds Stonehedge is awesome to view. The highways to Stonehedge are excellent and easy to traverse.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT OR ALMOST... Great and above all very smart idea to put the ticket machines, restrooms, snack bar, and souvenir shop 2 km from the site: EVERYTHING WAS VERY WELL ORGANIZED WITH IMPECCABLE AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! BUT STONEHENGE is our HUMANITY! At the end of the tour, there are signs (far too many) to take a selfie with STONEHENGE: touching these admirable stones with a finger, foot, or elbow—what a sadness! It is completely unworthy of this site, which is the most visited in England: you must take us for simpletons...

A memorable visit to an amazing cathedral on a perfect autumn day. The welcomers were most helpul , as were the information boards for the monuments. The refectory offered a wide choice of refreshment in a striking setting with its glass roof with a view of the spire.

Out in open countryside, the stone circle comes into view gradually, rising from flat grasslands with nothing around it to break the horizon.

Salisbury Cathedral

Stonehenge

English Heritage and National Trust England members can enjoy free admission to Stonehenge.

You will not be allowed to enter the Stonehenge Circle itself. This is due to the restoration attempts and the relative instability of the structure. Your Stonehenge tickets allow you to access about 10 meters of the monument.

Salisbury Cathedral

Available facilities: Paid parking spaces, changing places and toilets

The Chapter House, Restaurant and Shop are all closed on 25th December.

Daily services take place throughout the year, and while you are welcome to attend, access to certain areas of the Cathedral may be limited during these times.

Train seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are not guaranteed together.

Train times can fluctuate, so you must refer to your train e-tickets for exact departure times.

The bus transfer between Salisbury Rail Station and Stonehenge is not included and is available at your own expense.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled train departure time.
