Sure, the Lisboa Card is really convenient for public transportation, and it also makes getting into attractions easier. The price for a 1- or 2-day pass isn’t exactly a bargain, precisely because you can’t visit that many attractions in just a few days—they’re often quite far apart—and you’ll still have to wait in line, even if the lines are shorter! In March… imagine what it’s like in August!! And then if you lose it, like I did...!!! Luckily, I only went missing for half a day.

Unfortunately, the priority access to the Jerónimos Monastery didn't work out, since a long line had already formed in front of the monastery and everyone had a Lisboa Card. I would recommend booking a timed entry slot online. Using public transportation went really smoothly.

The Lisboa Card is only physical, available at several offices in Lisbon itself. Paying on Headout only secures a booking, and you do not get a card number, so it is NOT possible to book tickets for the monuments (Jerónimos Monastery or the Belém Tower).

The Royal Treasure Museum opened its doors to the public in June 2022. It houses treasures and crown jewels of the Portuguese Royal Family, a dynasty that ruled over Portugal for 9 centuries.
