The line at the ticket counter was huge. Thanks to pre-booking our tickets, we got straight into the palace. The visit to the palace kitchen was included. It was really interesting to tour the rooms where up to 70 people worked to keep the kitchen running. The working conditions by the stoves must have been brutal, as they surely burned as much coal as a steam locomotive and radiated just as much heat.

I had trouble downloading the app, so I sent an email and got a reply with the link resent, which allowed me to download the tickets. After a bit of panic about not being able to get in, thankfully everything worked out in the end. Overall, all good.

I entered the Royal Palace of Madrid without big expectations and was left speechless. The grandeur of the halls, the frescoes, the tapestries, and the porcelain really make you feel part of the history of Spain. Every room is meticulously detailed, from the armor to the Royal Chapel, all the way to the breathtaking view of the Sabatini Gardens. Very friendly staff and perfect organization, despite the queue. I recommend going early in the morning and getting the audio guide. It was an exciting experience that I would do again tomorrow. It's worth every euro of the ticket price. If you come to Madrid you can't miss it, it is the beating heart of the city, a plunge into the past that I recommend to everyone, including families, truly and absolutely unforgettable.

Regarding the palace, it is sumptuously beautiful, grand in size, and rich in detail. I only docked one star because I didn't have access to the private apartments and because of the rudeness of one of the staff members who refused to give me information because I hadn't bought the tickets directly from their ticket office (since tickets were sold out, and I paid a lot more, by the way). It is absolutely worth it! A must-visit for anyone coming to Madrid.

The Royal Palace is beautiful and Headout shared everything important clearly. Excellent tour!

Begin your tour with a stroll through the Plaza de la Ameria. Besides catching incredible views of the surrounding countryside, you can also appreciate the Baroque architecture of the palace from the courtyard.
