As London’s only public planetarium, the Peter Harrison Planetarium at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, opened in 2007, brings astronomy to life with immersive digital shows for all ages.

Most shows do not admit children under 5. Specific age restrictions apply: Ted’s Space Adventure is for ages 3–7 (adults without children are not admitted), while shows such as The Sky Tonight, We Are Guardians, and Meet the Neighbours are recommended for ages 7+.

Live shows run throughout the day, Monday to Sunday, each lasting around 30–45 minutes.

Tickets cannot be purchased online or by phone less than two hours before the show starts.

Late arrivals and re-entry are not permitted once a screening has started.

Royal Observatory opening hours are 10am to 5pm, with last admission at 4:15pm.
