The MANN has so many interesting items in their collections especially those related to Pompeii and Herculaneum. The objects were very easy to view with placards in both Italian and English explaining the history behind the item. The size of some of the statuary was immense and makes you wonder how they were sculpted. Imagine the delight of the archeologists discovering piece after piece of ancient history.

I visited Pompeii and Herculaneum as part of a tour and delayed my return flight to give me a day in Naples. Prior to the holiday, I bought from Headout a retun bus ticket from the airport and a timed entrance to the Naples Archeological Museum. I was quite anxious but everything ran really smoothly. I arrived early at the museum thinking I would need to wait but was taken through past the queue (not lengthy but nice not to join). The museum is in a fabulous building (Sundial Hall) and the exhibits are exquisit. The cameo Farnese bowl and Blue Vase are exceptionally beautiful. The description behind the Memento Mori mosaic, is reflective and is to encourage us to live life to the full. I fully recommend a visit.

Ambele trasee sunt interesante; există posibilitatea de a parca la punctul principal de plecare și sosire, lângă castel. Comentariile sunt utile, dar uneori greu de înțeles.

Totul a decurs bine; prezentatoarea noastră, foarte competentă și simpatică, știe să-și facă treaba foarte bine. A explicat totul în mod clar și a subliniat punctele esențiale. Grupul a fost mulțumit.

Serviciu excelent și bine organizat. Controlorul de bilete a fost foarte amabil și mi-a răspuns la toate întrebările cu promptitudine. Am reușit să ajung la aeroport fără nicio problemă și la timp pentru zborul meu, în aproximativ 10 minute de la Gara Centrală din Napoli. Îl recomand cu căldură!
