We really enjoyed our single day in the chaotic, fascinating city of Naples. The undisputed highlight was the National Archaeological Museum, which houses stunning artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum alongside ancient Egyptian antiquities like mummies. As for the hop-on, hop-off tour, we didn't give ourselves enough time—you need at least two hours just to complete the loop without getting off.

Well it was very quick and easy getting into the Museum with the skip-the-line tickets and the museum itself was fascinating + well worth a visit; the only challenge was trying to find / figure out where the toilet was!

Wauw. Menig Romeknse musuale collecties gezien, maar de collectie van dit museum is de overtreffende trap. Adembenemend! En bezoek de maquette van Pompei op de tweede verdieping pas na het bezoek aan de ruïnes en het museum. Die zaal is de perfecte afsluiting van een Roman Experience

La visita al Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli è stata particolarmente interessante e istruttiva. Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di conoscere meglio la ricca storia, l’arte e la cultura di Napoli e di ammirare numerosi reperti di grande valore. Ci è piaciuto soprattutto il fatto che la visita ci abbia permesso di imparare qualcosa di nuovo in modo piacevole e coinvolgente, comprendendo meglio l’importanza storica e culturale di questa città. È stata un’esperienza davvero suggestiva e arricchente, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Napoli ancora più speciale.

I had visited Pompeii and Herculaneum before the trip to the museum. The museum had a lot more from both sites than I was expecting it's well worth a visit but be warned it's in a very rough and dirty part of Naples

I have always wanted to visit the archaeological museum in Napoli having been to Sorrento 4 times. Finally went through Headout and was not disappointed-it was amazing.
