Exceptional guided tour of Quinta da Regaleira with Dee An unforgettable experience! We were lucky enough to be guided by Dee during our visit to Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra, and it was simply wonderful. Dee is not only lovely and welcoming, but she also has an impressive knowledge of the place. She revealed the secrets and fascinating history of this enigmatic palace with a contagious passion. From the chapel to the initiation wells, passing through the mysterious gardens, every corner came to life thanks to her detailed explanations and captivating anecdotes. Her enthusiasm and kindness truly enriched our experience. She took the time to answer all of our questions and make sure we appreciated every architectural and historical detail. Our guide Nowroj was excellent. He was very proactive with his communication and we knew right where to meet him. He was extremely enthusiastic about showing us Quinta da Regaleira and Sintra. The grounds itself were gorgeous and Nowroj pointed out much of the symbolism needed to understand the beautiful spot. My 12 year old son is a pretty tough customer for cultural sights and he even thought it was a good visit. Especially since there were towers to climb. I'd say we liked this tour even more than Pena Palace, which is high praise.

I had a great time and was able to meet tons of new people. The guide was incredibly kind, open-minded, and had great English. He took the time to get to know just about everyone and was patient with everyone's needs. He was entertaining and honestly made me laugh quite a bit whilst still being incredibly informative. From someone who is not a big fan of tours, I would do this again.
