Public Transport Tickets in Rome

We have been on quite a few guided tours, but rarely have we experienced such perfect organization. From the excellent communication beforehand to the flawless planning, execution, and Julia's warm, friendly guidance, our Pompeii trip was a fantastic experience.

Superly organized! A very friendly, knowledgeable tour guide! Everything went off without a hitch! It was a great idea to visit Pompeii from Rome.

Easy access once you have the tickets. But make sure you actually receive the PDF tickets. I finally received them after messaging customer service for two hours. You couldn’t activate the Roma Pass using the QR code they showed on the app.

It’s really convenient to be able to use all forms of public transportation so easily. And waiting in line isn’t a problem either. Even when the electronic system at a museum went down, we were still able to get in. Everyone else had to leave. All in all, the pass was a great solution for us.

It was extremely difficult to get the ticket because there were apparently incorrect announcements about where to pick it up. A 40-minute walk, a missed time slot at the Colosseum—really a bummer. Why can’t you get the ticket online? Then I had to make several in-person visits to two offices; the staff were super friendly and super helpful. I would never book this ticket again—it’s too unclear what’s included, too expensive, and too old-fashioned.
