The tour was OK and there was a Guide not archeologist but knew better the zone, but we were way more than 15 people so that made everything more difficult and slow. We were a group of 23 in total and the organization before the tour was a little bit bad, instead of sending us the tickets the same day in the morning, the guide had to make everything and there was some people that had tickets and other hadn't, so again it went slower than usual so we didn't have time enough to see everything with the guide

The organization was very good. Five minutes of courtesy in case anyone was late arriving, headphones included in the price, and formal attendance checks. Marina, the guide, spoke Spanish very well, gave us lots of information, gave us time to enjoy the place, answered questions, and made suggestions. At the end, she invited us to visit other areas of the archaeological park not included in her services, such as the amphitheater, on our own. A 10 out of 10.

We were given a tour by Grazia, and we greatly appreciated how she taught us to look at details of everyday life in Pompeii from a personal perspective. A connection to the here and now of our society. Where it was about inclusive society, climate, gastronomy, division of roles, household, efficiency on many fronts. Wonderful!! One day was too short.

I had always wanted to visit Pompeii, and finally the time had come. It was a wonderful visit that far exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to Marina, the guide, whose explanations, knowledge, and company were key to ensuring that my entire group (there were 12 of us) thoroughly enjoyed this truly magical place. Thank you to Marina and her entire team.

The explanations and comments from the guide, who was very professional and entertaining. It was clear that Marina knew the archaeological park and its history very well. During the two-hour tour, we saw the main areas of the park and were able to stay longer on our own at the end. I recommend her if you want to visit Pompeii with complete and accurate information.

The guide was informative, helpful, fun calm and knew how to make it feel like we were always just going with the flow and learning about pompeii rather than going on an 'organised' tour. The headsets meant you could explore yourself whilst listening to the guide also. Absolutely worth the money and a brilliant place to visit!

The visit with our guide, Fiorela, was wonderful. She explained everything in a very enjoyable and entertaining way, and also shared lots of interesting facts and information that made the tour great. However, there were some aspects of the organization that were not as expected. We paid for a small group tour of up to 20 people, but in the end there were 28 participants. This made the group quite large and at times it was difficult to stay close to the guide, which meant that sometimes we lost the radio signal. In addition, we were asked to arrive early, but the tour started almost 20 minutes later than planned. Overall, the experience was very good thanks to Fiorela's excellent work, but the size of the group and the delay did not match what was advertised.

Our guide, Julia, had extensive knowledge of the site and the social and economic history of the area. She was able to give us insights that would not have been available from a guide book. She was very personable and entertaining.

I really liked the guide's explanations, which were very informative and entertaining, but afterwards you have to take a look around on your own because there are some real gems that aren't on the guide's tour and are absolutely wonderful.
  • Through an archaeologist's lens

Take a 2-hour guided walk through Pompeii, an archaeological marvel, offering insights into daily life during the Roman Empire. Breeze past the queue with the skip-the-line ticket, and begin your expedition with an archaeologist guide through ancient streets and the bustling Forum, a central public space serving as the heart of civic, commercial, and social activities.

Learn about the city's history, including the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. This volcanic eruption buried the city under a thick layer of ash and pumice, preserving it remarkably well for centuries. Discover hidden secrets of attractions like the Basilica, the Thermopolium of Asellina, and the Stabian Baths, considered to be the oldest public baths in the city, constructed during the 2nd century BC.

    Walk through Pompeii’s highlights

Stroll down the Via dell’Abbondanza to reach the Teatro Grande, Pompeii's foremost theatre, primarily hosting theatrical performances, musical events, and various public spectacles. Throughout the exploration, you'll have the opportunity to appreciate ancient Roman artworks. Have the opportunity to step into the culinary world of ancient Pompeii as you explore the Thermopilia, ancient Roman "fast-food" establishments that once served as communal gathering spaces for locals.

Get to see the erotic frescoes woven into the walls of Pompeii's ruins where your guide will provide a nuanced perspective on the sensual aspects of Pompeii's culture.

Visit Foro, a hub of ancient political activities where you can get a sense of political chatters that once existed in these ruins. End the tour at the 'Calchi dei Corpi,' plaster casts that preserve the final moments of victims during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
