The Play That Goes Wrong was an incredible surprise! The actors were phenomenal, full of energy with impeccable comedic timing. I can’t remember the last time I laughed this much—every scene was a clever, brilliant twist delivered with perfect rhythm. It was my first time at the theatre in London, and this show completely won me over. It honestly made me want to fly from Italy every weekend just to come back and watch another comedy. An experience I’ll remember for a long time. Absolutely recommended!

This was our second time of watching this show. We've seen Peter Pan goes wrong and we are due to see the Christmas show in February. Absolutely love them and have an actual "belly laugh" during the performance. If you need cheering up and you haven't seen this show then you're missing an important date in your diary. Book it and you won't be disappointed. The acting is hilariously brilliant and how they manage the stage props is beyond me. Fabulous cast.

We sat in the center of dress circle, which is a great place to sit (unless you are very short, then I would suggest the front row of the dress circle). It was non-stop laughter the entire time. The only downside was the length; I think the second half was a little too long, and the audience was getting tired. Otherwise, a wonderful play, and a good choice for the one play that we were able to see on our short visit to London!

    The story

There’s been a murder at a country estate, and Inspector Carter is on the case. But with the Cornley Drama Society in charge, solving the crime is the least of their worries. Props malfunction, doors won’t open, actors miss cues, and one even gets stuck in a grandfather clock. The cast desperately tries to hold the show together through all the chaos, resulting in relentless, side-splitting comedy. Will they make it to the curtain call? Probably. Will anything else survive?

Fun, intimate atmosphere. Enjoyed the character interactions at the start. Seems we had a number of understudy for our performance.
