The perlan is so well done. Written exhibits are interesting and clear. My favorite experience was the volcano exhibit, especially the interactive decent into the volcano. The planetarium showing the long exposure photos was lovely. The observation deck and rotating restaurant literally top it off. We took our adult son to it when he arrived in Reykjavík, we enjoyed it so much.

The new exhibit was the best! Did it twice and the ice cave replica. The Aurora display was kind of a snooze. Would recommend this place to others.
    • Explore Iceland's only planetarium and indoor ice cave at Perlan —Wonders of Iceland with access to high-tech exhibits and digital guides.

    • Step inside glaciers, watch the Northern Lights dance across the dome, and see Iceland’s breathtaking nature brought to life, all in one unforgettable visit.

    • See life-like underwater species at the interactive underwater cinema and take in surreal 360-degree views of the city from the observation deck.

    • Fun Fact: The Northern Lights are better viewed through a long-exposure camera than the naked eye as the human eye cannot perceive all the hues of the lights.

    • Entry to Perlan Museum – Wonders of Iceland (access to all exhibits, planetarium shows & observation deck)
  • You can cancel these tickets up to 24 hours before the experience begins and get a full refund.

No particular issue, but the price for kids is quite high in my opinion. As an adult, I'd absolutely do it again, very nice and informative. But if you go with 3 kids, it becomes quite expensive. One could not simply go to the ice cave as that was part of a tour

The exhibits were good so we were able to see what an ice cave was like, the northern lights and puffins.
