Our guide Romeo was fantastic! He guided us and explained everything along the way, and it was a pleasure to listen to him. He also recommended a delicious restaurant. Five stars for him! It’s a shame that the ride in the minivan was very uncomfortable, and the driver’s driving was not only reckless but also made us feel sick.

A walk through Brasov

Additional information

Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; on these days, only the exterior and gardens are visited, and more time will be spent in Brasov.

The order of site visits may vary depending on the season, weather, and opening hours.

During official holidays and weekends, traffic may be heavier and the return to Bucharest may be later than scheduled (around 9pm–10pm).

Peles Castle will be closed for general cleaning and preventive conservation from Nov 3 to Dec 2, 2025. During this period, visitors will have the opportunity to visit Pelisor Castle instead.
