About National Orchid Garden
Unlike a broad botanical park, National Orchid Garden concentrates its appeal in a paid, compact route of curated orchid displays within the larger free Singapore Botanic Gardens. National Orchid Garden Main Entrance
Located inside Singapore Botanic Gardens near the Tyersall-Gallop core, this is the only verified public entrance to the ticketed garden. All standard visitors and ticket holders enter here, with tickets bought or validated at the Orchid Garden ticket counter beside the gate. Queues are usually short, with many visitors reporting straight-through entry or waits under 10 to 15 minutes; busier periods are typically weekend late mornings and holidays. There is no published airport-style security screening. Access is via paved paths and is broadly wheelchair-friendly, but the approach and internal routes include slopes that can feel tiring in the heat. If arriving by taxi or car, Tyersall Gate gives the shortest walk; from Botanic Gardens MRT, follow internal signs to National Orchid Garden.

Toilets

Wheelchair accessible
National Orchid Garden is broadly wheelchair accessible through paved, step-free paths covering much of the site. The main challenge is the sloping terrain: wheelchair users can navigate much of the garden, but manual pushing may be strenuous in the heat, and some steeper or narrower sections can be harder to manage.
