This app is a great discovery, very practical and easy. However, you need to make sure you choose the desired language for the audio on your phone when booking, because we didn't realize the tour was available in French. So, we confirmed it in English without paying much attention, and unfortunately, we couldn't change the language during the tour. But this app is highly recommended and a great find. It still allowed us to do the tour and understand most of the explanations, as we speak a little English.

Using the audio guide app at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum was a fantastic experience that really enhanced our visit. The commentary was delightfully concise and focused perfectly on the museum’s main highlights. It kept us engaged without feeling overwhelmed by too much information. Our only minor challenge was occasionally struggling to locate the exact artifacts mentioned in the audio. Clearer visual cues or display numbers in the app would make this otherwise excellent tool absolute perfection.

Get entry to a world of artifacts, history and precious Minoan art at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.

Explore exhibits like the “Snake Goddess”, the Phaistos Disk, Mino’s ring, and more.
