Everything was great. Vesuvius: the on-site guide was very interesting. Pompeii: an incredible tour. Well organized from start to finish, which was great since it was very crowded. Transferring between the 2 sites to catch the right bus also went very smoothly.

The excursion is very well-organized, with great punctuality and management, making it possible to visit Vesuvius, Herculaneum, and Pompeii in a single day. On the downside, it only includes tickets and audio guides for Herculaneum and Pompeii. You explore the sites on your own, so you miss having a guide to explain the history and the most interesting highlights of each place.

The tour is well organized. The only downside is the early morning departure—you have to find the bus. But they're on time, and the guides and drivers are knowledgeable. There's plenty of time to see the attractions.
