Our Mt. Batur trek was easily one of the most fascinating experiences of our trip! The hike itself was beautiful and exciting, but what truly made it unforgettable was our incredible guide, Roman. He kept the entire trek fun and relaxed, chilling with us the whole time while sharing fascinating insights about the volcano, the landscape, and the history of the area. He also took really amazing photographs of us at the peak. His enthusiasm and knowledge made every step of the hike feel like an adventure. A special thank you as well to Deekwanm and Siwan, who showed us around the rice terraces and the waterfall afterward. They were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the day, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Morning person or not, you're going to thank your stars that you decided to wake up, gear up, and hike up Mount Batur at super-odd hours. Long trousers? Check. Good night's sleep? Check. All that's left is chasing a spectacular sunrise and catching it just in time. The private transfer picks you and your group up, driving you to Mount Batur's feet, from where your private trekking starts.

For 2 hours, listen to your expert guide tell you stories of Mount Batur, as you hike up. You will catch a breath as you reach the summit, but you might gasp it out too soon. The Bali sunrise is known to leave quite a few travelers breathless. Adding to the treat, enjoy yummy fruits and eggs cooked over volcano steam by your guide. Once you soak in the splendor of the sun, head back down.

Stop only to visit the natural hot springs, take a refreshing dip, and swim till you soothe your sore, post-trek muscles. Head back to your hotel with a tonne of memories, laughter, and an image of a beautiful sunrise etched into your heart forever.

The hike is long: taking about 1.5 hours each way. It gets chilly – the summit temperature ranges between 8° to 15° C
