If you’re visiting Barcelona and don’t have much time in the city, I reckon you can give this attraction a miss. The funicular gets very hot in summer, and once you reach the top there isn’t much to see – at most, you can have a look at the harbour. You have to pay a separate admission fee to get into the castle, which I don’t think is worth the price, though you can take slightly better photos of the castle from there.

This was such a great ride up to the Castle!. The windows were clean and the cable cars were in great shape. We could see forever from there! And the castle at the top was amazing! You can go uptop and see a 360 view. Breathtaking!

Very easy and convenient ride. Cable car were super neat and tidy. Especially staff were very nice and polite. Very helpful. Overall i would recommend to try cable car. Graciass!!!

Love it! Spectacular view ,great experience! We went there in August ,but still wasn't crowded ,but very hot . Make sure you use the funicular to go up there. We didn't use that and it was such a long way to going up without that. Higly recomended!

I thought the view was fantastic. You can see Barcelona from every angle. The Montjuïc cable car will remain an unforgettable memory for me. Walking up to the castle is fun, and there are plenty of spots to take photos.

Beautiful view! Even with a fear of heights, it is enjoyable and not really scary, even a peaceful trip. Definitely do it if you are in Barcelona!
