João was a great guide for us and a small group on a very hot day. Glad we booked the early tour. Monastery was beautiful and his insight into the area was very valuable. Getting there early made the crowds minimal, and of course we walked right in at opening with the other groups. Keep in mind that on Sundays the chapel is closed for services until 2pm. So a bit of a let down but very understandable. The tour overall was a beautiful way to see Belem.Yvette
