We visited in mid-November when crowds are lower, but it's still nice to have the skip-the-line pass with the tour. Renan was so great, learning all of our names to speak with us on a personal level. I loved having the ear speaker, so that we could hear him. He just could speak in a normal voice and the audio was great. It gave us the freedom to wander and look at everything. Without the history and explanation, you will see a beautiful building, but with a guide, you will learn things you will never forget. We tasted the famous pastry of Portugal and walked to the monument of discovery (amazing). We loved this tour and highly recommend! It is not 4 hours as it says; it's actually less than 3 hours if that helps! 4 hours would be pretty daunting to us!

We very rarely do guided tours. As a photographer I find that the pressure of keeping up with a guide and the group while doing justice to the subject matter, too much. However, this was not really the case yesterday owing to our excellent and highly informative guide Renan and his relaxed and well paced style. It was a great experience and very good value which I would highly recommend to other travelers.

Federico P was an AMAZING tour guide. He was intelligent, knowledgable, and passionate about the history and culture of Lisbon. He knew how to navigate Jeronimos Monastery well and made sure we saw everything. He provided us with great recommendations for food and attractions in the area. Federico was easily the best tour guide we had for the entire trip.

We had an excellent guide and it was extremely interesting as he pointed out various aspects of the architecture and asked us for our views as to why the sculotors had represented things in this way. It was very informative historically and artistically. HIghly recommended. The highlight was the Pastel de Nata and cherry brandy/coffee at the famous shop nearby the monastery. It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour.

Frederico was very informative and enthusiastic when doing the tour. Getting a tour guide is essential to truly appreciate the architecture and history of the monestary. There aren't any supplemental plaques with information so you will miss a lot even though you can appreciate the beauty of the place.
