Visiting River Wonders at the Singapore Zoo was an incredible experience! What stood out most to me was how close you get to the animals — it feels like you’re truly part of their environment rather than just observing from a distance. The enclosures are beautifully designed to resemble natural river habitats, so you can see animals like manatees, giant river otters, and freshwater stingrays up close without any barriers that take away from the experience.

Absolutely fantastic experiencing the zoo at night. The majority of the animals were out during the evening. The tram ride was extremely enjoyable as you got to see a number of animals that can not be seen on the walk. Highly recommend taking the tram ride during the show as we did not have to wait in the queue line.

Many of the animals could not be seen at all and if you don't have a window seat it is even more difficult. When it rains, plastic blinds are pulled down, making it even more difficult to see. For example, if you are sitting on the right-hand side, it is difficult to see animals on the left.

You'll encounter a menagerie of nocturnal animals - from majestic lions to lumbering elephants and curious tapirs. Remember to catch the thrilling Creatures of the Night show where animals like Asian small-clawed otters and Fennec Fox showcase their talents. The fiery Twilight Performance is a fire and dance show. Along the way, passionate trailkeepers share fascinating tidbits about the animals' quirky behaviors, making your night safari unforgettable.

River Wonder

Step into River Wonders, Asia's unique water-themed wildlife park, where you'll journey through recreations of the world's great rivers – from the Ganges to the Mississippi. Come face-to-face with over 11,000 incredible creatures, from tiny fairy cichlids to massive giant river otters. Snap a photo with the giant pandas at the Pavilion Capital Giant Panda Forest and catch a glimpse of Kai Kai and Jia Jia, the beloved resident pandas of River Wonders.
