Honestly, this was the coooolest way to see Madrid in a short time. Booked the Welcome Tour Madrid for me + my boyfriend (he's obsessed with tuk tuks now lol). Our guide (Jorge?) was super chill and told us random facts about the city—like how the bear statue has a whole story behind it. The tuk tuk zipped around traffic better than I thought. Btw, if you take the 10am slot, the city is WAY less crowded. We stopped at El Retiro for quick snaps and the guide even took goofy photos for us. Weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot. 5 stars, would do it again!

Okay, so I’m not usually a tour person but the Express Tour Madrid was actually SO much fun. My sister and I hopped in the tuk tuk (never been in one before, felt like big kids) and our guide Anna was just the sweetest. She told us these totally random facts about the Royal Palace (did you know it has like 3,000 rooms?!) and we zipped past the Prado which is huuuuge, but didn’t have to wait in any lines because, well, tuk tuk. It was raining but they had blankets and plastic covers, so we stayed cozy. Only thing: Madrid traffic is wild and we got stuck for 10 minutes near Gran Via, but Anna kept us laughing. Would 100% do this again if I’m ever back. Btw, if you’re tall, watch your head getting in lol.

Took the Express Tour with my parents who don’t walk much anymore. The tuk tuk was comfy and the driver slowed down at the main sights so Mom could get her pics (she’s obsessed). Retiro Park looked so GREEN in spring! Bit noisy at Plaza Mayor with a street band but it added to the vibe. Only wished the guide’s mic was a tad louder in the back. Def worth it if you want a quick city view.

Took my parents on this Welcome Tour Madrid thing. It was a nice break from walking (dad’s knees, ya know?). We hit all the big spots—Royal Palace, Prado, etc. Guide was friendly but had a heavy accent, so sometimes hard to catch all the info. Still, learned loads! It got a bit bumpy when we passed some construction near Gran Via. If you’re sensitive to motion, heads up. Tuk tuk is surprisingly comfy, though. Would recommend for first-timers.
