Great show. The songs were perfect throughout the show and you knew you were hearing work from the great Sir Elton John. The set, lighting and stage management was flawless. All of the performers were wonderful, particularly those in the key roles but the ensemble were also stunning. As well as the show being outstanding, our night was made even better by the care and attention from one of the ushers who arranged a wheelchair and supported my husband. Thank you to that wonderful man.

The whole experience was breathtaking! It was my first time at the Dominion theatre and the architecture itself was surprisingly fascinating, not to mention the fantastic lighting and special effects. The musical was captivating, highly understandable even without a previous knowledge of the film; the actors were brilliant, the songs well-performed. It was a magical experience, an heartfelt recommendation to anyone looking for something different when in London!

I didn’t have very high expectations, since it’s not a classic musical and the story isn’t all that gripping. Instead, this show completely blew me away: it was nothing short of exceptional. I cried with emotion at a show that was so beautiful in every way—the music, the talented actors, the incredible costumes, and the perfect lighting and staging. It’s worth every penny. I’d go see it again today. I recommend it to everyone.

Vanessa Williams was superb and perfect as Miranda. We were so lucky to see her when we attended the show. All the actors were incredible and I wish I could have boughten the glossy program magazine but I was visiting from the US and my luggage is already full. Loved the fashion and special ending. Also, I was delighted how good our third row seats were.

A fantastic musical with a fantastic cast, including Vanessa Williams, who was incredible as Miranda, as well as Emily and Nigel. The songs were beautifully composed. The story stayed true to the book and movie, but the musical created a different atmosphere, and it was wonderful—thank you, I had a great time :)

The show is spectacular to outstanding!! The cast - leads and supporting are stellar and the experience is high energy and fills one woth with smiles! The wardrobe did not cease to amaze and the score and dancing was without a doubt professional and hard to keep everyone seated ! Vanessa is gorgeous and brings it all together beautifully.

    The story

Fresh out of college, Andy Sachs lands a coveted job at Runway magazine, under the icy reign of editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. What begins as a career move soon turns into a battle of identity, values, and ambition. As Andy climbs the fashion ranks, she must decide: Is this glamorous world worth the cost? The answer might come at a price she didn’t expect…

    Critics reviews

“When the musical embraces camp, it does it well … fans of the iconic film looking for a high-energy night will find plenty to enjoy.”

    – London Theatre

“Despite songs from Elton John, this stage adaptation of the classic film is a decent comedy but a lousy musical.”
