Prima Facie is the story of Tessa, a successful prosecutor who is at the top of her field. She is known for her questioning tactics that throw out the veracity of the opposing witness. In a twisted turn of events, she lands up on the opposite side of the bar and has to fight the same system that she used to her advantage for her professional gain. With the tables turned, Tessa learns and unlearns the strategies that she had used profitably as a prosecutor.
Jodie Comer, the internationally-acclaimed actor, plays Tessa. She is known for her roles in Killing Eve and Doctor Foster, among others. The play, written by Suzie Miller, is the winner of the prestigious Griffen Award. Director Justin Martin helms this triumph. Running at West End for a short 2-month period, Prima Facie is set to be one of the most awaited plays this season.
