  • Othello returns to the West End in a bold new production that rips through Shakespeare’s classic at the historic Theatre Royal Haymarket. Leading the charge is David Harewood (Homeland, Best of Enemies), making history again as the first Black British actor to play Othello on this stage. Opposite him, Toby Jones (Mr Bates vs the Post Office) delivers a chilling turn as Iago, while Caitlin FitzGerald (Succession) gives a fierce and moving performance as Desdemona.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Tom Morris (War Horse) and featuring a darkly hypnotic score by rock icon PJ Harvey, this Othello pulses with menace, heartbreak, and modern resonance. Expect jaw-dropping stagecraft, spine-tingling performances, and an unflinching look at power, race, and masculinity. Book your tickets for a landmark revival of one of the greatest tragedies ever written — and with a cast like this, tickets will vanish fast.

  • Shakespeare’s Othello is a searing tale of love, jealousy, and calculated deception. Othello, a celebrated Moorish general in the Venetian army, secretly marries Desdemona, the daughter of a powerful senator. But when his trusted ensign Iago feels passed over for promotion, he spins a web of lies, manipulating Othello into a spiral of paranoia and rage. As Iago plants the seeds of doubt, Othello’s world begins to unravel. Book your tickets for a devastating climax.

The chance to see Toby Jones and David Harwood at the same time is irresistible. David Harwood's physical presence is unforgettable. You can see jealousy eating him up without him saying a word. Toby Jones makes such an evil Iago.
