The story
Mary Page Marlowe follows the life of an Ohio accountant whose ordinary life hides unexpected depth and complexity. Told through a time-jumping narrative with 11 non-linear scenes, and five different actresses portraying Mary at various stages of life, the play captures defining moments from youthful dreams and difficult marriages to a secret affair, a DUI, and a brief time in prison.
Tracy Letts crafts a deeply intimate portrait of memory, identity, and the consequences of our choices. But in the end, who is Mary Page Marlowe?
