The story
Set in Gateshead in the North East, Gerry and Sewell follows two lifelong friends who’ve got little but a shared dream, to watch their team live, with season tickets in hand. As austerity bites and their beloved club gets sold off to outsiders, the duo decide they’ll stop at nothing to secure those tickets, no matter the cost. Along the way, they navigate dodgy deals, social hangouts and scrappy opposition, holding tight to each other and their dream.
