Embark on an unforgettable journey that explores competitiveness, betrayal, friendship, and forgiveness. Created by Tony Award-winning composers Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tom Kitt, Bring It On is a must-see high school musical!
Campbell has recently been selected as the Squad Captain of the cheerleading team at Truman High. When she is forced to attend a performance by the competitive neighboring school, Jackson High, her dreams of leading the best cheerleading squad in the region come crashing down. An unlikely friendship puts Campell back on the map, as she attempts to lead a powerhouse squad to do the impossible.
Loosely based on the 2000 film of the same name, Bring It On highlights the competitive world of cheerleading and the intense rivalries of the top teams. The production premiered at Broadway in 2012 and went on to win rave reviews from critics and audiences across the world. The dance numbers, in particular, were praised for their dazzling performances and the gymnastic prowess of the dancers. Composer Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tom Kitt are in charge of the music for the production. Miranda has won 3 Tony, 3 Grammy, and an Emmy Award, in addition to a Pulitzer Prize. He is most famous for his work on the musical Hamilton, for which he wrote the book, music, and lyrics.
