Famously left-leaning Ben Elton's 1987 and 1988 shows Motormouth and Motorvation transformed him into one of comedy's most outspoken voices. His quick wit and ranting style draw you in and it is a delight to watch him on stage. Elton's unbridled ability to say it very much like it is, is a rare talent in today's outrage-ridden age.

Over time, he's had huge success translating his comedy stylings into film, literature, and musicals. Television shows The Young Ones, Blackadder 2, Blackadder The Third, Blackadder Goes Forth, and the legendary ‘exam’ episode of Mr. Bean, are all his works. Elton has also directed two feature films: 2000’s Maybe Baby and 2017’s Australian-made Three Summers. 2018 saw him writing Kenneth Branagh’s biopic of William Shakespeare, titled 'All Is True,' starring Judi Dench and Ian McKellen. He has written three smash-hit West End plays, as well as 'We Will Rock You' is based on the music of the British rock band Queen.
