Bat Out Of Hell - Tickets
Bat Out of Hell the Musical serves more as a tribute to Meat Loaf’s incredible compositions compiled in the albums “Bat Out of Hell” and “Bat Out of Hell II : Back Into Hell” than as a story with a profound plot. This does not, by any means, blunt the sheer brilliance of the performance. The musical is intended to seem like a post-apocalyptic version of the widely-loved Peter Pan. Although this description does not seem to add up too well, Bat Out of Hell is a thoroughly entertaining three hours of pure euphoria.

Meat Loaf’s albums sold over 43 million copies worldwide, making it one of the most successful albums in history. The original score was written by Jim Steinman. He was quite well-versed in musical theatre as well, and orchestrated the score for the hit musical, Dance of Vampires. 2012 Obie Award winner for Best Director, Jay Scheib, put the work of Steinman and Meat Loaf together in a fast-paced rock musical that managed to sweep audiences right off their feet with its audacious rock soundtracks. Bat Out of Hell has no shortage of honours. It was nominated for 8 ‘Whatsonstage Awards’ 2017, including ‘Best New Musical Award’.
Bat Out of Hell takes place in the imaginary land of Obsidian, a post-apocalyptic variant of Manhattan. It is ruled by a cunning and powerful tyrant named Falco, who has locked up his daughter, Raven, in the palace towers. When Strat, a young member of a gang calling themselves ‘The Lost’, first catches a glimpse of the beautiful Raven, he decides to rescue her from the vicious Falco’s clutches. The musical pulls out all the stops to portray this romantic rock and roll voyage a delightfully thrilling experience that no one in the audience can ever forget.
